Job Summary

AECOM has a great opportunity for a

Customer Service Representative supporting our program in Alice Springs, Australia. The Customer Service Representative at In-Town Services (ITS), is the initial point of contact either by phone or visitors to the ITS Office. The role encompasses providing administrative support for all functions carried out by ITS including greeting visitors to ITS and handling phone enquiries; distribute keys to ITS staff, sub-contractors and residents; enter times for non-cleared staff into SAP and leave planning; provide administrative support to the ITS group, JDFPG residents and United States Government (USG) staff; ensure all documentation is filed and recorded in both SAP and residence files; assist with USG passport requests and mobile phone requests; schedule appointments for Preventive Maintenance (PM’s) services with residents as required; carry out fortnightly key audits; take minutes at Government Point of Contact (GPOC) and staff meetings; and perform additional duties as required.

  • This is a local hire position.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Department of Defence security clearance..

  • Competency and familiarity with SAP or similar.

  • Competency and familiarity with Microsoft office.

  • Well-developed writing skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Detail orientated and highly organised.

  • Ability to compile and distribute information.

  • Ability to influence to ensure ITS staff and sub-contractors follow policy and procedures.

  • Ability to problem solve and resolve routine matters independently.

  • Ability to work alone and in a team environment

  • Must be able to obtain an Australian drivers license.

  • 1-2 years demonstrated experience in an administrative role where customer service forms an integral part of successful performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Business Administration.

  • Previous training/certification in First Aid and CPR.
