Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Project Electrical Engineer Specialist for a Federal Client in the DC Metro Area to join our Program and Project Management team.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Will be the senior technical resource and will serve as the technical advisor for the team throughout the project’s lifecycle.
Will work with the project team and interact with the client to deliver multiple projects for a federal client.
Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepare technical specification sections.
Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Identify opportunities for effective and efficient cost savings for the client.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Construction experience
Experience working with GSA
Preferred Requirements
5+ years’ experience in field
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Federal Security Clerance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD
OSHA 10
Experience with federal clients
Experience with Design-Build Projects
Experience with Design Bid Build Projects
Managed construction projects valued in excess of $3M

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $160,000.00.
