Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corrosion Engineer to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive corrosion prevention and mitigation strategies.This role is crucial in ensuring long-term infrastructure integrity. This role will involve managing projects across North America.
This position is a remote work location option.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and execution of corrosion prevention and mitigation programs.
Oversee the inspection, assessment, and maintenance of infrastructure to identify and address corrosion issues.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance the durability and reliability of assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate corrosion control measures into new and existing projects.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on corrosion-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to corrosion control
Client relationships and involvement with project pursuits. .
Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor’s in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field and 8 years of related engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Professional Engineer license
Experience in corrosion engineering, preferably within the water/wastewater or transportation industry.
Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, materials selection, stray current mitigation, cathodic protection, and protective coatings.
Experience leading successful corrosion prevention and mitigation projects.
Experience and proficiency in problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
AMPP certification as a Corrosion Specialist and Cathodic Protection Specialist is strongly encouraged.
Experienced in technical and client communication skills, including written and verbal.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $150,000.00 - $195,000.00.
