Job Description

The Low Code Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing low-code solutions & strategies using platforms like Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Autodesk Forge, Bentley Systems, and other industry-specific low-code tools. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and consulting acumen to guide clients in their digital transformation journey.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and clients, to gather requirements and provide solutions that not only meet their needs but also align with their long-term business strategy. You will also contribute to developing AECOM's low-code strategy, offering innovative ideas for optimizing workflows and integrating systems across different technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Low Code Development
  • Design, develop, and implement low-code solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Autodesk Forge, Bentley, or other low-code tools.

  • Create custom applications, workflows, and automations that solve business problems with minimal coding.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and follow best practices in low-code development.

  • Integrate low-code applications with other enterprise systems and third-party APIs (e.g., ERP, CRM).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to low-code implementations.

  1. Consulting & Strategy
  • Work with clients to understand business needs and offer strategic consulting on how to leverage low-code platforms for optimal results.

  • Conduct workshops and demonstrations to showcase the potential of low-code development.

  • Collaborate with client teams to develop digital transformation strategies that include automation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Offer recommendations for improving operational efficiency through technology integrations across Microsoft, Autodesk, Bentley, and other platforms.

  • Provide ongoing support and advisory services for low-code implementations, ensuring long-term success and adoption.

  1. Cross-Platform Integration
  • Design integrated solutions that connect Microsoft, Autodesk, Bentley, and other platforms, enabling a seamless flow of data and collaboration across systems.

  • Ensure low-code solutions are adaptable and compatible with existing enterprise technology stacks.

  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to assess integration points and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in low-code/no-code development with platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Autodesk Forge, Bentley, or other industry-standard tools.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including UI/UX design, workflow automation, and data integration.

  • Demonstrated experience in building custom applications, workflows, and process automations.

  • Familiarity with business process analysis and translating requirements into low-code solutions.

  • Knowledge of APIs, web services, and integration techniques.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.

  • Experience in client-facing roles, with strong consulting and advisory capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in low-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform Developer, Autodesk Forge, or Bentley Systems.

  • Experience with enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, or project management software.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for low-code applications.

  • Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, or manufacturing would be a plus.

  • Ability to lead workshops and training sessions for non-technical users.
