Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to be based in our Boston, MA office and work on the structural design of buildings and structures for a variety of clients.
The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for the following items:
Serve as a Senior technical resource and may serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects
Uses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of PS&E packages
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
Prepares technical specification sections
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
BS in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering or related discipline plus six (6) years of related experience in structural design of buildings and structures or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
Must have ETABS, SAP, SAFE & AutoCAD, experience to qualify for this position
PE License in Civil/Structural engineering
Preferred Qualifications :
Experienced in structural analysis modeling and design using finite element analysis method
Specific software experience in RAM Structural, and, TEDDS, Mathcad, SpecsIntact, spColumn, spBeam, spWall, Enercalc
Microstation & Revit experience are highly desirable
Masters in Structural Engineering
Ten (10) years experience preferred

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $115,000.00 - $145,000.00.
