Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented GDPR & Data Privacy Compliance Analyst to support our data privacy initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with data privacy policies and legislation, conducting self-audits, and managing data privacy documentation. This role requires a proactive individual who understands data privacy legislation, can handle administrative tasks related to data privacy, provide support to and deliver identified training, and collaborate with various stakeholders to uphold data privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of GDPR and has a thorough understanding of global data privacy regulations.
Policy Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating data privacy procedures.
Documentation: Manage and organize data privacy documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Audits: Support the execution of data privacy self- audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
Training Support: Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on data privacy.
Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with data privacy policies and regulations, reporting any issues or breaches.
Risk Assessment: Help identify potential data privacy risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders to ensure data privacy standards are upheld.
Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to data privacy, including scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of GDPR and awareness of global data privacy regulations.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Experience in an administrative role, preferably within data privacy or compliance.
Ability to support training programs and audits.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with data privacy tools and software is a plus.
Preferably holds or is working towards a recognised data privacy qualification.
