Job Description

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Quality Manager to join our team in Bucharest.

Fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption, Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is AECOM’s primary vehicle for workshare. Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones, EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise, accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry.

Here is what you will do:

  • Ensuring the development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of quality system policies and procedures for the Company, in accordance with the approved quality system.

  • Providing support for various business branches and related projects.

  • Ensuring that quality audits are conducted on time.

  • Assisting the EC Quality Assurance Manager (EC QA Manager) in fostering quality awareness across all business branches and related projects.

  • Providing monthly quality statistics and identifying areas for improvement for the EC Quality Assurance Manager (EC QA Manager).

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;

  • Qualifications in quality control or verification;

  • ISO 9001 auditor certification (latest version);

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an auditor position / 8-10 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Working knowledge of quality or safety management systems and industry-specific practices;

  • Extensive knowledge of management methods and specifications, including design control processes;

  • Experience in statistical data reporting, including KPI analysis and trend evaluations;

  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language of the designated country;

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards (latest version) and their implementation;

  • Auditor certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to ISO 45001:2018 standards.
