Position Title Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Analyst and Electronic Warfare

AECOM has an opportunity for a highly qualified candidate to provide research, planning and analysis support to U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) in the areas of Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Electronic Warfare (EW) at Camp Smith, Hawaii.
AECOM is looking for a candidate to provide timely research and analysis of current PACOM area UAS and EW threats in order to identify high-value gaps and develop innovative solutions to counter these threats. The candidate for this position must have unique insights to both intelligence and operations in order to integrate analysis and solution sets. This analysis will be applied to support, streamline, and enable the Commanders to protect forces and capabilities against known and emerging threats from UAS and EW.
This position will provide assistance to senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for USPACOM senior leader consumption. The candidate for this position must be able to: provide assistance on short timeline responses to specific questions pertaining to PACOM theater threats; research and analyze various pertinent national security policies, military capabilities, and vulnerability assessments; and provide qualitative data to support recommendations.
The candidate for this position must be able to support holistic (kinetic and non-kinetic) force protection operations planning and coordination to identify and coordinate the process for integrating C-UAS ad EW activities into the USPACOM force protection policies and rules of engagement; provide analysis and technical expertise to assist force protection operations plans to identify and make recommendations regarding the mitigation of gaps in accordance with operational performance metrics and gap analysis.
This position requires a bachelor's degree and minimum of seven (7) years of experience supporting the DoD. It is highly desired that this candidate has at least three (3) years’ experience working in PACOM specific topics.
This position requires knowledge of Joint Campaign, Contingency, and crisis Action Planning procedures.
This position requires at least three (3) years of experience in UAS and / or electromagnetic spectrum operations as well as familiarity with air/space/cyber operations at the tactical or operational level.
This position requires modeling and simulation, exercise scenario development, war gaming, or red team experience.
The candidate should be familiar with strategic and campaign plan documents from National Command Authority through Combatant Command and Joint Task Force level. They should be well versed in joint doctrine.
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in order to provide information, articles, written reports, and presentations to include delivering executive summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level officials. Must have experience providing regularly scheduled project plans and status reports.
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Top Secret SCI Security Clearance
Must have demonstrated skill in using integrated software (e.g., MS Office suite and sharepoint).
Graduate of Service or Joint Planner Course
Graduate of an advanced integrated air defense or equivalent service school
3+ years of experience presenting plans and findings to Flag Officer leadership
3+ years of experience in joint organizations, including USPACOM and components.
