Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an experienced

Operations Contractor Assurance Specialist in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the ownership and resolution of Corrective Action Management processes for the Operations Department. The successful candidate will work closely with Line Management, the Contractor Assurance Department and the Carlsbad Department of Energy (CBFO) in resolving issues identified internal and external that relate to compliance with quality and safety practices. The successful candidate will lead initial event investigations and fact-finding meetings for this organization and develop the final report and Lessons Learned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus ten (10) years of related experience, or

  • Associate’s degree plus fourteen (14) years of experience, or

  • High School Diploma or GED with eighteen (18) years of experience is required.

  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced with Corrective Action Management process as it relates to the Department of Energy standards and requirements.

  • Previous WIPP experience is a plus.
