Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an

Electrical Preventative Maintenance Planner to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and planning of work control documents (WCDs) to support work at the Waste Isolation Pilot Project in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This includes scoping and planning walk-downs to define and bound activity scope, leading work planning teams in the identification and analysis of hazards and selection of controls, interfacing with other support organizations and subject matter experts to provide a work document that will facilitate safe and compliant conduct of work on facility systems and components. This includes the procurement of parts for work activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with two (2) years of related experience or,

  • Associates Degree with six (6) years of related experience or,

  • High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of related experience is required.

  • Experience with use of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.

  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience in an instrument or electrical field.

  • Previous Work Planning experience is preferred.

  • Experience with use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is preferred.

  • Knowledge of material procurement processes, experience with use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and familiarity with Primavera or other scheduling tools is desired.
