AECOM Mine Operations Coordinator in Carlsbad, New Mexico

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a
Mine Operations Coordinator to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.
The successful candidate will provide coordination between Mine Operations Managers, Hoisting Operation Managers, U/G Maintenance and U/G Facility Operations personnel for daily operational activities. Will provide technical support to Mine Operations Management for safe performance of mining activities. Specific responsibilities include providing schedules for Mining Operations activities, preparations of Purchase Requisitions for obtaining parts and materials, submittal of Action Requests, and assist with development of Job Hazard Analysis. The planned corrective or preventative maintenance on Mining and Hoisting Operation’s equipment and provide updates on scheduled work activities. Must be able to pass a pulmonary function test to qualify to wear and work in a respirator.
Bachelor’s degree in a science related field plus five (5) years of relevant experience, or
Associates degree with nine (9) years of related experience, or
High School Diploma or GED with thirteen (13) years of experience is required.
Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Knowledge and experience with the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CHAMPS) and Work Control Planning processes in conjunction with mine planning is desired.
Familiarity and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
