Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor duties and responsibilities will Include but are not limited to:
Duties and functions incorporate acting as project leader, supervising and delivering all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion
Carrying out the normal duties and functions which occur within a Professional Quantity Surveying office
Working in conjunction with an Associate and/or Executives to assist with project execution and the management of the office
Attending, taking part and providing in-house training, workshops and seminars
Managing, mentoring, supervising, etc. off junior staff
Preparing bids
Under limited supervision, normally receives little instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
Works on problems of diverse scope.
Qualifications
8 years’ post undergrad degree experience within the built environment as a QS
Registered as Pr.QS with SACQSP
To be able to work on WinQS and CostX
