Job Description

AECOM seeks to hire an Structural Revit Designer for our Chelmsford MA office . This position is intended to support structural and other disciplines with the model and drawing production of a variety of new and retrofit facilities to support the water business line, such as Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

  • Create initial Revit model project setup with workflow documents.

  • Support the development of the Revit model for each project/discipline.

  • Work as part of a BIM/Revit support team to achieve consistent results.

  • Support the daily Revit model management, administration and maintenance.

  • Support the Structural Engineer with the drawing development and layout.

  • Help to develop BIM Content: Families such as parametric, formula nested and type catalogs.

  • Work with vendors on content download and update to Company Standards.

  • Support linked views and others in multiple models situation.

  • Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations.

  • Integrate REVIT products with other applications (Autodesk, Construction, Cost Estimation).

  • Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules.

  • Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.

  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Experience in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM360, Navisworks, etc.

  • Experience in AutoCAD.

  • Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Chelmsford Design Center

Preferred Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.

  • Experienced, self-directed professional.

  • Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture.

Additional Information

  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $60,000.00 - $80,000.00.
