Job Description

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Program/Project Manager to join our Remediation team in our Conshohocken, PA office. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering remediation consulting services to our key clients.

The successful candidate will assume leadership roles on projects and within the department, and will develop strong relationships with the team, and with clients to enable the pursuit of new opportunities. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as a part of a project team.

The successful candidate will be committed to the team’s success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; will manage the technical, cost and schedule elements of project delivery; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.

The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • National/Regional client manager with goals of account growth and greater marker share

  • Manages large, multi-regional teams to deliver consistent results

  • Effectively manages risk, quality and safety expectations

  • Develops long term strategy for growth and success within specific markets (electric and gas utilities sector)

  • Manages more complex projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar, thereby increasing the potential for larger consequences of error.

  • Responsible for internal reporting to executive team on key account metrics and outlook

  • Participates and actively promotes the AECOM brand in the markets served

  • Increasing responsibility for leadership of direct reports.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BA in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related field + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related field

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.)

  • 9+ years of related technical experience in engineering, geology or hydrogeology related to project management experience in remediation construction, water resources, dams and impoundments.

  • Experience and industry knowledge in the Electric and Gas Utilities Sector

  • Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment

  • Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may

  • Demonstrated business development experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading proposal efforts and account management

Additional Information

  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $130,000.00 - $175,000.00.
