AECOM Inventory (Logistics) Manager in Dahlgren, Virginia

AECOM is seeking an Inventory (Logistics) Manager to perform inventory management of all assets controlled by Asymmetric Systems Integration Team (ASIT). The selected candidate will be responsible to utilize parts tracking system to monitor and manage disposition of parts and equipment; offer recommendations to enhance existing inventory system to maximize efficiencies; manage the shipping and receipt of material to and from other organizations; ensure components and parts are safely stowed and controlled; track the software revision status of tactical radio components, and execute upgrades if needed. Position will require the physical ability to lift man portable items onto trucks and onto storage bins. Limited travel may be required to move and transport material to support USMC exercises and testing events.
Five (5) years of experience in a logistical environment performing supply, material, or warehouse management support that includes two (2) years of experience in logistics management concepts, policies, systems, and practices.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Must be proactive in execution of duties and display interpersonal communication skills.
Must have organizational skills and ability to execute multiple assignments and tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
Experience with military parts or logistics supply services is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, systems integration, business, or logistics discipline or military logistics background is desired, but not required.
