We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment for our organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to innovative solutions in the field of electrical engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
Identifies discrepancies in results.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry best practices
Prepare design reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
Collaborate with Professional Engineer with Practice Certification (PEPC) in establishing connections, preparing, and following up on Authority Submissions.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related fields.
Registered with Board of Engineer (BEM)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and system implementation
Proficiency in CAD software , such as AutoCAD
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to innovate and optimize electrical solutions
Exposure in executing design and construction projects within a BIM environment, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of BIM tools such as REVIT and CAD
Candidates with prior experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) infrastructure projects, such as metro and railways, will be given preference.
Proficiency in the use of specialized engineering software, including Dialux, Hevacomp, Ricoda, Amptech/ETAP.
