Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Document Controller to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's critical documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems and procedures
Manage the lifecycle of documents, including creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving
Ensure all documents are properly indexed, stored, and easily retrievable
Coordinate with various departments to gather and organize documentation
Perform regular audits to ensure document accuracy and completeness
Maintain version control and track document revisions
Train staff on document control procedures and best practices
Generate reports on document status, compliance, and other metrics as needed
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to document control
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field
5 years of experience in document control or a related field, preferably in a corporate environment
Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge of database management, filing, and archiving systems
Experience with quality control procedures and data entry
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards related to document control
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
Certifications in document management systems (preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
