Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineering/EIT specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure for a full-time position based in Edmonton, Alberta .

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducts engineering design related to water and wastewater infrastructure under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Develops cost estimates during design development related to water and wastewater projects.

  • Writes technical documentation, including memoranda, reports, proposals, and letters, to support water and wastewater related projects.

  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

  • Supports construction projects through on-site contract administration and field support. Collaborates with Contractors and more senior staff in delivering successful construction projects.

  • Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.

  • Supports experienced engineers in project management and administrative duties.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of related construction experience.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $60,000.00 - $80,000.00.
