Our thriving, multidisciplinary Water Solutions team in the South West is growing—and we’re looking for a Civil Engineer to join us in Exeter, Bristol, or Cardiff .
We’re delivering an exciting portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term frameworks with key clients including major UK water companies (Wessex Water, Welsh Water, South West Water), contractors, and even international partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career as a technical engineer—solving real-world challenges through meaningful, sustainable design.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver practical, community-focused water solutions.
Supporting design and feasibility studies across potable, foul, surface water, and attenuation projects.
Using design and analysis software to assess water systems and structures.
Developing infrastructure designs—including pump systems and pipe networks—with a focus on safety and buildability.
Staying informed on relevant regulations and applying them to project work.
Gaining valuable on-site experience to see your designs in action.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Demonstrate sound problem-solving skills, accountability for assigned work, and strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables with multi-disciplinary knowledge
Preferred experience working in a digital delivery environment using BIM and 3D design tools. Training can be offered to suitable candidates without this experience
BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Working towards Chartership with a relevant Professional Institution
