Job Summary

The Transportation Movements Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the A/DACG and

Surface and Air Deployment Node Support on Fort Campbell.. The Transportation Movements Supervisor will have access to SIPR and systems which identify deployment information such as dates, units, equipment and locations. The Transportation Movements Supervisor will also be required to attend/participate in classified briefings.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years of documented supervisory experience in A/DACG and Surface and Air Deployment NodeSupport.

  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, and policies, as well Airfield Operations.

  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all installed product software at the use/operator level and automated data processing policies and procedures as they pertain to assigned equipment, both STAMIS and installation desktop computers which will allow the contractor to solve and/or contact appropriate technical support to resolve any problem associated with these systems.

  • Must have the ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.

  • Must have skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans,and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions and must be Hazmat certified.

  • Good communication skills; requires operating application software including word-processing and spreadsheet programs.

  • Position may require travel.

  • SECRET security clearance required
