Job Summary

AECOM has an immediate opening for a Supervisor 1 - Property Book at Fort Polk, LA.

The Property Book Supervisor will supervise the property accountability. The Property Book Supervisor will be the primary point of contact through which the site Responsible Officer (RO) will coordinate Government requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages the property accountability and asset visibility tasks performed onsite.

  • Exercise general management and administrative oversight of all authorized items.

  • Review and verify accuracy of property book actions.

  • Establish controls for proper verification of transactions and files.

  • Promote safety in all work areas.

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation.

  • Must utilize all proper lifting procedures and practices.

  • Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Must be able to work under pressure and strenuous conditions.

  • Must be able to meet short suspense dates.

  • Must be able to conduct work in the out-of-doors area with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions (i.e. extreme temperatures, high humidity, rain and blowing dust).

  • Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of stooping; climbing; standing; and sitting for long periods of uninterrupted time.

  • May require shift work.

  • May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • During the usual work period, the worker may be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable

Other Responsibilities :

Minimum Requirements

  1. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident

  2. High school diploma or equivalent.

  3. Five or more years’ of Army property management experience.

  4. Must be highly skilled with Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) G-Army.

  5. Must possess in-depth knowledge of supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to Supply/Property Book Accountability and supply areas of logistics operations.

  6. Experience at the Division property book level required.

  7. Must have a valid and current state driver’s license.

  8. Must be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle

  9. Must possess basic computer skills

  10. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  11. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  12. Computer literate with experience using MS Office

  13. Position may require travel.

  14. Ability to work in a team environment

  15. Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills are critical.

  16. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related field desired.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding and oral/written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
