Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an

Aircraft Mechanic 3 (Paint) for a position in Ft. Campbell, KY.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintains production schedules in accordance with published work breakdown schedule.

  • Utilizes internal and external assets to maintain production flow and executes recovery plans as necessary.

  • Coordinates work center needs with input from production control, fellow crew leads and the backshops manager.

  • Maintains compliance with ground and flight operations procedures.

  • Responsible for mat/non mat submissions and assist the ST with tracking status.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

  • Position requires Chromium Physical

  • Position requires flight line driver authorization

  • Position requires shift safety supervisor authorization

  • Aircraft tug operator is desired

  • Position requires work in hot/cold conditions

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.

  • Ability to develop and maintain required relationships with customers, and the ability to work with technical staff to ensure successful results.

  • Able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on multiple assigned projects.

  • Excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet component delivery schedule.

  • Strong team building skills and the ability to lead a team.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years leading a team in a production environment.

  • Prior technical inspector duties is a plus.

  • Ability to comprehend and comply with paint environmental logs and reporting requirements
