AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Water/Wastewater Engineering Manager for immediate employment at AECOM‘s Greenville, SC Office. AECOM's mature and growing water / wastewater practice in South Carolina and adjacent states work with our region's largest water and wastewater utilities and supports AECOM's national and global Water business to executed transformative projects around the globe.

The qualified candidate should have extensive experience leading the analysis and design of water/wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems and conveyance and experience iin Project Management, managing and mentoring technical staff, developing new business and maintaining client relationships.

In this role, the qualified candidate will assume leadership of our Greenville Water business, maintaining and developing client relationships. This will include building on our existing talented team by developing, mentoring and attracting additional talent. This role will participate as a member of our senior management team across the state, with additional support from our East regional leadership team.

AECOM has an extensive portfolio of municipal clients and utility projects in South Carolina. Our highly capable technical teams are in place and experienced in delivering complex projects for clients. The qualified applicant will join a mature business, with a unique opportunity to immediately begin managing multiple clients and employees.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering plus 10 years of relevant experience and demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Minimum of 10 yeas' experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure design, assessment, and rehabilitation, including treatment, conveyance and pumping systems

  • 5+ years of Project Management Experience

  • Professional Engineer

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 15 yeas' experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure design, assessment, and rehabilitation, including treatment, conveyance and pumping systems

  • Professional Engineer in South Carolina or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months

  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex municipal Water / Wastewater projects, preferably in South Carolina

  • Experience managing staff and leading multidiscipline project design teams

  • Experience in coordination with regulatory agencies

  • Experience presenting at professional conferences, leading technical workshops
