Position Title Network System Administrator

The Network Systems Administrator works with a project team to ensure that end-user computer and network systems are optimized for maximum productivity. This can include trouble shooting desktops, domain issues, various engineering applications such as SmartPlant 3D, and assorted network operations. Other duties to include Active Directory management, log management, software administration, GPO management, SCCM patch troubleshooting and asset management. May provide cross-functional coverage for other network administrators. Will assist with PKI management. Will image and deploy workstations. May review required specifications and issue purchase orders for equipment. Requires frequent interface with management and end-users. Attends project team and functional meetings, assists with network outages, upgrades, and supports security audit activities. Works closely with project security management/ITPM in the implementation of security requirements. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall information systems mission.
Associates Degree or equivalent in computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ of related experience
Understanding of Windows System Administration
Understanding of Active Directory
Understanding of basic network functionality
Desktop deployment and technical support
Good communication skills
Ability to work within a cross functional team
Must work on site
Knowledge of Identity Management
Experience with Microsoft Exchange environments
Experience with network architectures
Active or previous Government Clearance
Previous experience supporting systems that comply with Government Regulations in sensitive environments.
