Job Description

In collaboration with the team and with the support of a supervisor, the selected person will be responsible for carrying out the following tasks:

  • Carry out analysis and calculations under the supervision of an engineer;

  • Use mechanical design software and modeling tools such as Catia, Microstation;

  • Apply calculation and design methods for mechanical equipment. Assist engineers, designers and technicians in their technical tasks;

  • Producer of technical reports and calculation notes;

  • Perform the calculation of quantities for cost estimation;

  • Participate in the preparation of reports, specifications and quotes.

  • Support the engineer or technician during on-site survey visits;

  • Assist in monitoring site work as needed;

  • Providing support to engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

Qualifications required :

  • Current bachelor's student in mechanical engineering;

  • Specialized courses in mechanical design;

  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite;

  • Located in Fredericton New Brunswick at the project site.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual French and English;

  • Curiosity and thirst to learn and surpass oneself;

  • Interested in the field of mechanical engineering;

  • Collaboration and communication skills;

  • Rigor and sense of ethics;

  • Ability to exchange and transmit knowledge;

  • Interest in solving the most complex challenges.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $20.00/hour - $26.50/hour.
