Job Description

AECOM is seeking various ORAT Subject Matter Experts (Baggage Handling Systems, IT, Above-Wing, Below-Wing, Trials, Transition etc.) to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga.

We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.

Major Responsibilities:

• Oversees the technical aspects of assigned workstreams (BHS, IT, Above-Wing, Below-Wing, Trials, Transition, etc.)

• Assists the ORAT Functional Lead in managing daily workstream operations.

• Identifies potential risks and escalates issues to the ORAT Functional Lead.

• Collaborates with stakeholders (SMEs) to ensure the successful readiness of new airport facilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:

• No less than a Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of relevant experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in aviation-related projects.

• Previous experience in ORAT program(s) is considered a must.

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an ORAT SME is preferred.

• Experience with large airport projects exceeding CAD $500M is an asset.

• Deep knowledge of the aviation industry, with a strong understanding of comprehensive airport operations.

Additional Information

This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $160,000.00 - $200,000.00.
