The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Energy team in Perth.

Our team supports the design and development of modern power systems, including transmission and distribution infrastructure as well as renewable energy facilities.

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in a diverse mix of projects, including the planning and design of overhead and underground transmission and distribution lines, high-voltage substations, and renewable generation stations; as well as utility-scale and industrial-scale renewable energy developments such as solar PV, wind and battery energy storage systems. You’ll support efforts across feasibility studies, outage sequencing and planning, detailed engineering design, technical specification development, construction monitoring, and project management support.

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to help shape the evolving energy landscape, contributing to the integration of renewable energy into modern grids using extra high voltage AC/DC technologies and advanced grid connection solutions. Our work spans both utility-scale and industrial-scale developments in solar PV, wind, hydrogen, pumped hydro, and battery energy storage systems.

As you progress through our recruitment process, you'll have the opportunity to select your preferred discipline and location, along with second and third choices. To be considered for this role, please choose either "Electrical - Renewables" or "Electrical - Transmission and Distribution" as your first preferred discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.

  • Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2026. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.
