Position Title Alteration Coordination Engineer (ACE)

AECOM is actively seeking an Alteration Coordinator to provide technical support to Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Code 352. The position will be located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA
Essential Responsibilities :
Provide alteration/modernization coordinating management support, with technical services, to ship Maintenance Teams
Liaison with AIT Advance Planners, RMMCO , Project Engineers, Shipbuilding Specialist, AIT On-Site Installation Coordinators, Ship Superintendents Project Engineers, etc. as necessary to ensure NSA alteration execution oversight requirements are met.
Assist with alteration installations IAW TS 9090-310 (latest version) and NAVSEA Standard Item requirements by assisting with AIT Check ins, AIT-industrial support services cost gathering
Review Condition Found Reports and Request for contractor changes
Assist Modernization Teams with alteration technical compliance by supporting Liaison Action Request development, and initiating Corrective Action Reports.
Attend all execution related availability meetings
Bachelor’s degree in technical field and at least 3 years of job-related experience; OR Vocational/ Technical school or Associates degree and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Prior Naval Modernization/Alteration lead experience
Excellent communications and analytical skills;
Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
Requires a Secret Security Clearance
