Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Program Management Director to work remotely,to support a large infrastructure program. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual particularly within the Rail/Transit industry. The individual will focus on identifying and implementing innovative solutions to delivering the high-speed rail transportation systems in an economically smarter and faster manner.
Position Responsibilities
Research and analyze emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in transportation and high-speed rail to adopt innovative solutions and strategies that reduce project costs, enhance enterprise value and fast-track project delivery
Identifies, recommends, and works to adopt and implement innovative design and construction solutions, application of information systems, and enhanced performance measures that and that increase contractor and private sector confidence that high-speed rail projects can be delivered on time and on budget.
Leads efforts to incorporate innovation, revise and realign planning, design, environmental clearance and permitting, pre-construction work, business planning, financing, agreements, partnerships, procurement, construction, and rail operations to create greater certainty that the Authority can speed and accomplish project delivery on time and on budget.
Advises on enterprise-wide efforts to revise and improve policies, procedures, standards, objectives, and systems, that ensure alignment across various areas and disciplines, improve internal communications, organizational structure, and accelerate project delivery.
Engage and coordinate with external parties to facilitate communication, support key relationships, and assist with public-private partnership agreements.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 2 years of leadership experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Degree demonstrating expertise and advanced knowledge in relevant fields.
15+ years of program delivery support for large infrastructure programs.
Proven experience in high-speed rail innovation, business operations, strategy development, or program management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or public-sector projects.
Significant experience with federal and state transportation policies and practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to liaise with senior leadership, external stakeholders, and government agencies.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $145,481.00 - $269,139.00.
