Position Title Site Security Officer

AECOM has an opportunity for a Site Security Officer at our Springfield, VA location.
Perform duties in the badging system area and front desk. Complete security requirements for government, prime and subcontractor personnel.
Plans and coordinates security, badging services, and related functions to include the execution of programs to ensure maximum utilization within the facility.
Coordinate with the responsible Company Facility Security Officer (FSO), to perform functions to ensure personnel DoD Clearance requirements are met and maintained.
Oversee and perform CAC duties.
Knowledgeable with Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castle, M3/SMS, DEERS/Rapids, e-Travel, C-Cure 9000, MDI database, PeopleSoft Access Management System (PSAM).
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work assigned projects, produce accurate and knowledgeable reports while successfully performing a multitude of daily assigned duties.
Working knowledge of DoD and NGA policies governing current security procedures.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, and an occasional Tuesday 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
Must be able to acquire access Scattered Castle, M3/SMS, DEERS/Rapids, e-Travel, C-Cure 9000, MDI database, PeopleSoft Access Management System (PSAM). Customer service experience with direct customer or client contact.
Associates Degree and/or at least 2 years’ job-related experience. Two years’ work experience can be substituted for each year of college.
A minimum of two years’ experience is required if no Associates Degree is possessed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Have the ability to deal with others in a positive and customer-focused manner.
Ability to adapt to a frequently changing and a fast -paced work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Strong computer skills-Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
US citizenship is required.
TS/SCI clearance is required.
