Job Summary

The Information Operations WDC Implementation Developer will support the Information Operations Mission Area Department, a division of the Information Warfare Development Center. The Information Operations WDC Implementation Developer will possess thorough knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements detailed in applicable Department of Navy policy, (e.g., NWP 3-13, NTTP 2-02.1). As an Information Operations SME, the Information Operations WDC Developer must be familiar with the application of all aspects of Information Operations Planning applicable planning and coordination of spectrum dependent systems and networks in support of Fleet operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • SMEs shall possess a minimum of 10 years of Fleet/Information Warfare experience as well as general doctrine development to include CONOPS development, Navy and Joint concept development and experimentation, Navy C5I capabilities, warfighting areas, and organization/planning/communication skills to support all facets of NAVIFOR’s/IWDC’s mission.

  • Position requires an active Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of operational leadership experience equivalent to a US Navy shipboard division officer (0-3/0-4), chief petty officer (E-7/8), or chief warrant officer (CWO 3/4) with Navy or Joint Staff experience providing Information Operations support, and having knowledge and understanding of applicable technical concepts and practices in order to support Information Operations readiness across the DOTMPLF (Doctrine, Training, Materiel, Personnel, Leadership, Facilities).

  • Information Warfare Basic Course (IWBC) Completed a tour in an Information Warfare Officer Coordinator or Planner billet.

  • Afloat Cryptologic Management (ACM) course

  • CTR A School, Watch Station PQS/JQR, Electronic Key Management User PQS

  • Fleet Generic Area Limitations Environment (GALE) Operations

  • JPME I or II graduate, Enlisted Warfare Specialist

  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience directly related to Information Operations management

  • Three years of operational experience as an Information Operations Officer or senior enlisted (E7/8) billet

  • A graduation certificate from a Naval Information Warfare Tactical Operations Course (NIWTOC), Joint Tactical Terminal –M Operator, or Producer course, Generic Area Limitation Environment (GALE) - LITE operator Course, and CTR A/F Schools

  • Personnel (Officer/Enlisted) who has who has successfully completed a tour in an Information Warfare sea/shore billet which provides division officer experience or Completed a tour in an Information Warfare Officer Coordinator or Planner billet.

  • Two years of experience in an Information Operations or related billet and possess the Additional Qualification Designators (BI1, Bl3).
