Job Description
The role will be responsible for the technical support of the project controls function on projects and proposals, delivering output by following defined procedures and processes, focused on repeated tasks. The Project Controls function provides the support, tools and systems experience necessary to manage effectively and proactively, control and report on cost and schedule for concurrent projects throughout the organization.
Supports PM and project teams on more simple, lower risk projects.
Learn and use company’s Project Management platform, job cost reporting and financial system.
Contributes by working on projects of limited complexity/within accounts in a technician or administrative capacity.
Under direct supervision, follows written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned and standardized tasks.
Applies basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to area of specialization.
Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
Performance commitment process and begins updates to commitment log for purchase orders and subcontracts.
Ensures changes to document in a timely fashion to meet set deadlines.
Responsible for coordination with other parties to make sure document edits are made and proofed.
Follows standardized procedures but may have to use discretion to complete project.
Ensures document tracking and production system is maintained.
Prepares and maintains a document control system for all forms of documentation.
Makes copies of drawing for production and other company employees.
Assures that all completed documents have been signed-off by the appropriate personnel.
Distributes copies of documents to the appropriate personnel.
Implements and follows company quality assurance program procedures.
Develops fundamental knowledge in planning and scheduling concepts and principles including effects on financial performance.
Familiarize basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts and principles
Develops familiarity with data sources for schedule development.
Perform assigned tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.
Work with the Team Lead and/or senior members of the team to address issues
Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
Escalate issues and concerns to the Team Lead/Supervisor for timely resolution
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, and IT-related courses is preferred
Fresh graduates are encouraged.
Relevant work experience in lieu of degree is considered.
Knowledge in basic MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) is required.
Fluent written and spoken English is required.
